We kicked off the project with on-site discovery workshops with the product owner and other members of the Arch team. These focussed on user stories, user flows, personas, competitor analysis and technical dependencies. We also drew on our previous Insurance
UX research and sector experience to highlight upcoming trends and innovations.
From the second week of the project the team started building the interactive prototypes, which were iterated with the client before testing early versions with brokers. Over a number of weeks these prototypes were refined base on user feedback before
a final validation test with brokers before we passed the prototypes to our development team for implementation.
The portal was developed on Microsoft.NET MVC and SQL server, integrated with the SSP insurance platform. Security and performance were at the heart of the build process, which was verified with rigorous penetration and scalability testing before
launch.
