Back in September we posted about Quilt, a US life insurance company who were using selfies to quote for insurance.
Just last week Zurich launched their very own app called FaceQuote which also uses a selfie to estimate a person's age and calculate what life cover would cost per month.
Recent research by Zurich discovered many people were without cover and prone to overestimating what the cost of cover would be.
The aim of the FaceQuote app is to encourage people to think about their finances and engage with them in new and different ways.
