Delivering a new brand and digital transformation for a mortgage broker

Private Finance, headquartered in Bedford Square, London, is a leading mortgage broker that specialises in arranging high value property loans. It was looking for a partner agency that could deliver a new visual brand identity, a new responsive website and execute a long-term digital marketing strategy.

Approach

At the beginning of an intensive 3 month period we first worked to understand their business objectives, brand values, distribution channels and competitive landscape. Based on this analysis we delivered a completely new corporate identity and website. A key challenge for this project was to turn their website into a more effective business generation tool. The foundation for this was delivering relevant, engaging user experiences that were genuinely useful to prospective customers while at the same time optimised for conversion. Through a combination of SEO, PPC, display advertising, remarketing and a new website optimised for conversion, Dock9 delivered a year-on-year increase of 394% in mortgage enquiries originating from the Private Finance website.

Project Highlights

Some project highlights include:

  • New corporate identity, rolled out across the new website, email, social media and print
  • Responsive website design that adapts to mobile, tablet and desktop devices and serves up a user experience optimised for that device
  • Responsive email templates deliver the above benefits but for Private Finance’s regular email marketing communications
  • The site is built on the Sitefinity Content Management System, enabling business users to easily manage all content on the site and deliver email marketing campaigns. This includes custom modules built by Dock9, such as for mortgage best buys. This enables staff to manage best buys from one place in the back office, and the site intelligently displays these throughout the site on relevant pages depending on customisable business rules
  • Interactive mortgage calculators, such as a Repayment Calculator that give the user a visual representation of the mortgage amortisation, as well as monthly payments and detailed yearly breakdowns

Business generation

A key challenge for this project was to turn their website into a more effective business generation tool. The foundation for this was delivering relevant, engaging user experiences that were genuinely useful to prospective customers while at the same time optimised for conversion. Coupled with this work is the setup and execution of a long-term integrated marketing campaign across search (SEO and CPC), display marketing and re-marketing, social media and email.
